Finding Purpose and Sense of Belonging
John and Nicole, Purpose Artisans founders, both are passionate about improving community wellbeing by serving it up through the roots, through the people and their innate purposes. They merge a unique cross cultural perspective, as they were raised and grew up in very different cultures, John from South America, Chile, and Nicole from mid west Minnesota, United States. John and Nicole both studied Occupational Therapy, which give them a holistic perspective on human beings and how they interact with their environments, they understand the importance of bringing people together, sharing a sense of belonging and how this contributes to healthy communities. They foster this mission by providing opportunities to engage in hands on tasks that integrate the mind, body and spirit and a sense of togetherness.
In early 2020, John and Nicole initiated their partnership based on the unified purpose to serve their community considering its growing and undervalued diversity, which is rooted in prejudices, fear, and ignorance. In February 2022, they were able to complete the process that made them a legal non profit entity.
