A glimpse

Finding Purpose and Sense of Belonging

John and Nicole, both Occupational Therapists, have teamed up to start “Purpose Artisans”, a cross cultural group oriented to generate awareness around social justice through arts. Both are passionate about improving community wellbeing by serving it up through the roots, through the people and their innate purposes.

As a cross cultural community mental health occupational therapists, they see the importance of bringing people together to share a sense of belonging. They foster this mission by providing opportunities to engage in hands on tasks that integrate the mind, body and spirit and a sense of togetherness.

What we do…

Purpose Artisans (P.A.) generates and carries out community projects through arts. Through an occupational therapy lens, these projects are open and accessible for the community. This organization takes a cross cultural approach and is focused on addressing social justice issues. Finding purpose and a sense of belonging is promoted in the community and its members.

We also develop customizable programs to improve social and communication skills. We make connections possible through group experiences, carefully considering their environments. We carry this belief into everything we do.
